Tags, Decals and Coverplates

found on equipment inside the Twisted Knot Woodshop

I enjoy the acquisition of, the restoration of and the ultimate useage of old woodworking machines and equipment.  The ones presented here are from machines that are, as far as I am aware, 100% original to that machine. Sizes and descriptions of the these items along with their locations will be added as time permits.

The above tags are from my Delta 20" Bandsaw. The upper left is the switch cover plate, the upper right is the tag found on the upper wheel cover and the bottom tag is the serial number plate, which is found at the bottom and rear side of the upper wheel shroud. BOD - March 1959

This is the switch plate found on the Delta Unisaws - yes, I have two of them.  One's BOD is December 1946 and the other one is August 1947.  Both are completely restored. I'm a happy camper!

These two tags are from my Delta 6" x 48" belt sander.  BOD March 1951. The first one is the serial number tag. The other one is on the upper side plate that covers the belt.

This tag is from my Walker Turner 24" jig saw. Circa 1957
